A Bluevale man is in jail for com­ mitting an assault causing bodily harm and for failing to comply with an order. Joseph Michael Matthews pled not guilty to the charge of aggravated assault but guilty to the lesser charge when he appeared before Judge Garry Hunter in Wingham’s court, June I5. Matthews also pled guilty to the breach charge. He was sentenced to 90 days for the assault which occurred Sept. 4 and 30 days consecutive for failing to comply with an order that he not consume alcohol.
