We would like to thank Community Care, the St. Elizabeth Homecare workers and the Home Nursing Care nurses for all their help and support in keeping Dad comfortable while he was able to remain at home. Thanks also to Dr. Jan Razycki and the nursing staff on first floor at Clinton Public Hospital. Thanks to everyone who visited Irvin, made inquiries about his health or remembered him in their prayers. We appreciate the comforting words given by Rev. Cecil Wittich, Rev. John C. Brush and Mr. George Mansfield. The many lovely floral tributes and charitable donations made in Irvin’s memory indicated to us how much he was respected in the community. Thanks to the Blyth Fire Depart ment for honouring Irvin’s wish to be carried to the cemetery on the old fire truck and for participating in the funeral service itself. Friends and neighbours in the Hamilton Street area presented the family with a “Downy Serviceberry Tree” to be planted in his memory. This kind gesture was much appreciated. The thoughtfulness of the many people who brought food to the family will long be remembered. Words can’t express just how grateful we are for all that was done for us in our time of sorrow. With heartfelt thanks - Betty Bowes, Connie and Vernon Bromley and family, Maxine and John Brush and family. We Will Trust In The Lord ’Tis over and done, the end of life. Gone is the pain, the worry, the strife. Be with us Lord so we can carry on, Now it has happened, can’t believe he is gone. But memories we have and hold so dear So on we will go and never stand still. Do the work of the Lord, we will, we will! Because of the love that we have through God, We can carry on with a smile and a nod. Life has it ups and downs as you know, But we will trust and obey as onward we go. - Written in memory of Irvin Bowes by son-in-law John Brush. 21 -1 GOOD/CALDWELL.
