Bruce Whitmore, the guest speaker welcomed the congregation. The senior choir sang accompanied by Elizabeth Procter at the piano. Cindy McKee looked after the nursery. John Nixon, John Dorsch, Joyce Vincent and Ken Procter took up the offering. The sermon was entitled Because of the Empty Tomb. Winners were: high lady, Mary Taylor; second high lady, Jane Grasby; lone hands, Mary Mc­ Intosh; low lady, Iona McLean; high man, Richard Moore; second high man, Stuart Chamney; lone hands, Jim Coultes; low man, Bev Hayden. On Friday, April 28 there were 10 Alice Yuill and Becky Logan were in charge of the nursery. The scripture readings were taken from Psalm 25: 1-5, 11-18, and Mark II: 22-25. Miss Whitmore’s theme for her sermon was Soul Food. Ken Procter and Don Procter took up the offering. The next shoot will be Friday, May 12 at 1:30 p.m. London and George and Mary Johnston at Ilderton. John, Linda and Justin Campbell spent Easter weekend with Jeremy Campbell at Grand Bend.
