The man asked him where he got the birds. The little boy said he caught them in the field and he was going to have fun with them. He would get them to fight with each other and maybe he would clip their wings. The old man was quite upset and asked if he could buy them. The boy asked why in the world would he want them because they weren’t good for much, they couldn’t sing and they sure weren’t pretty. The man insisted and the boy finally agreed. The man took the cage and immediately set the officers New prices for dinners were passed. The next meeting on May 17 will have as guest speaker Gary Jewitt talking on sleeping children around the world. The place is to be announced later. Now Jesus was walking down the road when he came upon a cage full of people with Satan holding the key. Jesus asked him what he was going to do with them. Satan said he would get them to fight with one another and he would torment them some, maybe clip their wings. Jesus asked what he would take for them. Satan wondered why he would want them since they weren’t worth much, they weren’t pretty, couldn’t sing well and they were just ordinary people. Jesus again asked how much he wanted for them. Satan finally had Jesus where he wanted him and said, “All of your tears and your blood.” Jesus immediately set the people free.
