Our warmest thanks to all our family and friends for their care and concern for us during the long winter from November to April. Thank you for your prayers, cards, phone calls, flowers and treats, offers of rides to London and to Wingham. Thank you to Mrs. Joan Golden whose love and ministry carried us through such hard times. Also thank you to the Community Nurses for their excellent .care and to Rene and Fannie for coming to our aid to move the furniture so Ralph could be comfortable at home. Ralph is home now and seems to be doing well. This has been a heart­ warming experience and will never be forgotten. - Ralph and Edna. 17- 1P STONEHOUSE. COOPERATION OF THE COUNTY OF HURON HOMES FOR THE AGED Requires DIRECTOR OF RESIDENT CARE HURONVIEW & HURONLEA (9 months) The successful candidate will be the leader of the care team that provides direct, holistic health care to the residents of both County Homes for the Aged. This includes direction to the Charge Nurses, planning and evaluation the direct health care service and advancing the departmental practices. As well, the position is responsible for the budgeting process, hiring, other staffing issues, policy management, staff meetings and participation on various committees. The position relies on close collaboration with other members of the leadership team, health care providers, families and agencies. The successful candidate must have a current Registered designation from the College of Nurses of Ontario and have proven administrative management experience in geriatrics or long term care. Excellent communication and computer skills are a must. A progressive thinker with strong people skills is required. Exposure to "Lead Management" principles would be an asset. This is a full-time position starting as soon as possible to Feb. 4, 2001. The Homes are located near Clinton and Brussels in Huron County. To a beautiful life came a sudden end, He died as he lived, everyone’s friend. He was always thoughtful, loving and kind, What a glorious memory he left behind.
