CARD OF
THANKS
BLYTH COMMUNITY CHURCH
OF GOD. Congratulations to
everyone who helped to produce
the play “Bookmark" at the Blyth
Theatre on April 13, 14, 15.
Thomas Bailey, as director, with a
cast of nine players, including Dane
Corneil, Josie MacDonald, Chris
Ten Pas, Meredith Dow, Darryl
Guetter, Dave Guetter, Rachel
Morrison, Katie Cook and Alicia
Marshall, did an excellent
presentation of the gospel
according to Mark. Gail Bailey,
Mary Marsh, Sharon and George
Guetter were responsible for props
and costumes, and Murray Black
and George Guetter constructed the
set. Tim Proctor and Robin Sanders
were the capable technicians. Our
thanks also to all the supporters of
this production; the community
who came to see the play, and the
churches which helped us to
sponsor it, including the Blyth
Christian Reformed Church, Blyth
United Church, St. MichaeJ’-s
Catholic Church and the Auburn
Missionary Church. Thanks to the
ladies of the supporting churches
who were very generous in supply
ing refreshments for intermission,
even to the one very thoughtful
person who brought something for
diabetics. It was all greatly
appreciated. All of us at the Blyth
Community Church of God say
thank you and well done! 17-lb
BROTHERS. As captain of the

everyone who sent flowers, cards,
food and made phone calls to our

Mamie Carter’s passing. A special
thank you to Dr. Woldnik and the
staff of the Seaforth Manor, the
Beattie-Falconer Funeral Homes,
Reverend Robert Bigger and the
Londesboro U.C.W. During a time
like this we learn how much our
family and friends really mean to
us. Your expression of sympathy
will always be remembered. - Jim

HOLLAND. We would like to
express our sincere thanks for the
kindnesses shown our family at the
time of the passing of a dear
mother, grandmother, great-grand
mother and sister. Thank you to
Rev. Dow of the Blyth United
Church for his guidance and
compassion during a difficult time
for us. The service was very
meaningful and a celebration of
Mom’s life. To the ladies of the
Blyth United Church for preparing
and serving a delicious luncheon -
thank you. We would like Susie to
know that we cherish her sharing
memories of her beloved “Gram”
with us at the service. The friends
and relatives who came to
visitation, attended the funeral, sent
sympathy cards, remembered Mom
with a donation and brought food
to the house - your kind gestures
will never be forgotten. The floral
arrangements received were
beautiful. We would like to thank
our Aunt Ollie for being such a
tower of strength for all of the
family. To Michael Falconer of the

for us much easier. We are
especially grateful to Dr. Woldnik
of the Seaforth Manor for his many
phone calls and to everyone on the
staff at Seaforth Manor for the love
and care they gave to Mom over
the years and this love and respect
was never more evident than in the
last month. We will not soon forget
your caring. And last of all, we
would like to thank The Lord for
allowing us, her family, the
privilege of loving this wonderful
woman for so many years. - Olive

express our deepest thanks and
gratitude to all our friends and

have shown to us during our time
of sadness. For the many cards and

to remind us of the wonderful
community we live in. Thank you
to the members of Branch 218 who
attended and waited patiently for
the Legion service in memory of
