Berfeltz was spectacular in this game, particularly the overtime as she frustrated the Algoma shooters. In total Berfeltz stopped 81 Algoma shots. Finally, at 4:09 of the fifth overtime period Cook backhanded a rebound off a Brittany Campbell shot by a dejected Algoma goaltender. The defense pairings of McDonald and Whitfield and Good and Ritchie were strong for the Hawks tying up Algoma forwards looking for rebounds at the Hawk net. Two face charges On March 28 officials from the local high school contacted officers working in the Town of Seaforth over a report of two youths being shot. Officers attended and spoke to the victims to find that on March 16 around 5:30 p.m. they were invited to a home on George Street in Seaforth. Once inside the home the two 15 year olds were met by other youths. One of the youths inside the home then produced a BB-air rifle showing it to everyone present. The one victim at this time decided to leave but his exit was blocked. The youth was then shot twice in the leg area. The other victim also attempted to leave but was grabbed and eventually held to the floor. He was also shot with the BB gun. Over the next several minutes the two youths were shot repeatedly with the gun leaving marks, small cuts and bruising. The two youths were then allowed to leave. Officers have charged two 15- year-old male youth offenders from Tuckersmith Twp. and Seaforth, with unlawful confinement and discharge air gun. They will attend court in Goderich on June 8.
