Prices are $25 for the pump­ house land, $35 for Lion's Park and $85, an increase of $10 from last year for the Maitland Conservation Park. *** A composter is being donated to the school’s garden project. *** Permission was given for the Legion to sell raffle tickets in the municipality. *** With 911 just months away, resi­ dents are being urged to get their Federal PCs begin candidate search The Federal Riding of Huron- Bruce, Progressive Conservative Association, has established a candidate search committee. The committee is aggressively seeking potential candidates to represent Huron-Bruce in the next Federal election. The association looks forward to an exciting race through which the party members will select a candidate. Several members from the riding will be travelling to take part in the upcoming national policy conference to be held in Quebec City from May 11 - 14. Anyone interested in receiving more information about the process, or in being a candidate, contact Denise Wilkins-Treble, chair of the Huron-Bruce candidate search committee, at 519-357- 2175; Maurice Donnelly, vice-chair at 519-366-2382. Any search committee member may also be contacted. Other members of the committee include: Bob Bregman, Mary Donnelly, Murray Cardiff, Robert Fleming, and Kriss Snell. The Seaforth and District Com­ munity Centre budget was approved with operating expendi­ tures of $337,620 and capital expenditures of $65,000. The Blyth-Hullett Landfill site budget was approved with expendi­ tures totalling $43,300. The hourly grader rate will be set at $60 with a minimum of $30 and a lane grading rate of $30 per lane.
