Madill track and field competi­ tors who brought home medals when the team travelled to Toronto recent­ ly to compete in the York University Invitational. Laura Meier placed third in the junior girls triple jump with a leap of 9A1 metres. She also ran the 400- metre in 1:06.94 minutes. Kerri Meier placed eighth in the midget girls 400-metre with a time of 69 seconds and eighth in the 60- metre, running it in 8.42 seconds. Amanda Palmer finished 12th in the junior girls 60-metre in a time of ----------------------------------------------- 8.55 seconds. In the junior boys division, Andrew Garland earned a fifth in shot put with a distance of 12.47 metres and Myron Hussey competed in the long jump with a best jump of 5.05 metres and triple jump at 10.71 metres.
