EARL. It was indeed a honour to
be chosen Citizen of the Year for
1999. To those who nominated me
and to the committee who makes
the choice, my heartfelt thanks. A
big thank you to all those who sent
me cards, gifts, flowers and well
wishes. To everyone who attended
and helped with the celebration on
Sunday at Ethel United Church,
sincere thanks. It is because of my
wonderful family and great friends
in the church and community that
makes it easy to give of my time.
We all must do our part to make the
