The $345 allows the 40 Peacekeepers to buy shirts, hats and treats and hold a party at the end of the year. Teacher co-ordinator Cheryl Cronin said the program has been increasingly successful with some Grade 6 students unable to join because of the large number of participants. Four Peacekeepers are on duty each recess and help keep the environment safe and happy for the primary students.
