MEMORIAL,
CARTWRIGHT. In loving
memory of a dear husband, father
and grandfather, Howard, who
passed away one year ago February
12, 1999.
God looked around his garden and
found an empty space,
He then looked upon the earth and
saw your tired face.
He saw the road was getting tough
and the hills were hard to climb,
So he closed your weary eyelids
and whispered ‘Please be Thine’.
He put his arms around you and
lifted you to rest;
God’s garden must be beautiful for
he only takes the best.
- Lovingly remembered by
Marjorie, Carol, Ben, Alex and
John, Neil, Megan, Nicole and
Matthew. 06-lp
CUNNINGHAM/WALDEN. In
loving memory of a dear daughter
and sister, Donna who passed away
Feb. 13, 1973.
What we always remember are -
The way she laughed,
The songs she sang,
Her cheerful ways,
The love she shared every day,
They will live forever in our hearts.
- Remembering her with much
love, Mom, brothers and sister.06-1

stay.

MACHAN. In memory of Violet
Machan who passed away Feb. 12,
1999.
A mother’s love will never fail;
Though friends will come and go;
She’ll stand beside you
Through thick and thin,
Just because she loves you so.
A mother’s love
Can brighten your world like a ray
of warm sunshine;
But nowhere else could there ever
be
A mother quite like mine.
- Lovingly missed every day -
Dianne, Jim, Tracey, Steve, Kelsey,
Kassidy, Karissa, Tyler and
Lawrence. 06-1
SOUCH, Sherry. For a very special
sister and aunt who was taken away
Feb. 2, 1993.
If only I could make a wish
And know it would come true,
I’d wish I could call heaven,
I’d ask to speak to you.
I’ve had so many things to tell you,
Since God called you away.
How much I’ve missed you,
Each and every day.
A million times I’ve cried
If my love could’ve saved you,
You never would have died.
If I could have a lifetime wish
One dream that could come true,
I’d pray to God with all my heart
For yesterday and you.
- Always loved and in our hearts
forever, Steve, Wendy, Tiffany and
Sarah. 06-1
STEWART. February 6, 1987.

As days go on and years go by.
- Lovingly remembered by the
Stewart families. 06-1 p
KLEMKE. In loving memory of a
special Dad and Grandfather
(“Tatta”), Paul Klemke who passed
away 7 years ago February 12,
1994.
We hold your hand and walk with
you,
In dreams that seem so real.
And once more we can talk with
you x
And tell you how we feel.
We thank you for the love yOu gave
Before we had to part.
We keep it in a special place,
That’s deep within our hearts.
It is there we find the solace
And draw our strength upon,
The years have passed, but not the
love,
Your memory still lives on.
- Always in our thoughts, always
in our hearts, love Joan, Stephen,
Eric and Benjamin Caldwell. 06-1

are necessary to actually level the
playing field,” Core said. “Very few
people actually realize, for example,
that the minimum access of five per
cent discussed in the last round was
never achieved. Many believe that
we can simply gradually reduce
export and domestic support and
this will be enough without recog
nizing this will leave a distinct
advantage to those countries who
currently have the highest level of
government support.”
Core pointed out that there is solid
proof for the effectiveness of
Canada’s dairy system. “Our most
recent cross-border surveys continue
to show that consumers in Canada
are purchasing their dairy products
at retail for far less than their coun
terparts in the United States,” he
said.
The December comparison indi
cated that it is 44 per cent cheaper to
buy a basket of dairy products in
four Canadian border cities. This
followed an A.C. Nielsen national
survey in June that showed it was 17
per cent cheaper to buy a basket of
dairy products in Canada.
“We offer good value to Canadian
consumers and the quality of our
products has never been better.”
Success stories Core highlighted
included the development of niche
market opportunities within the reg
ulated marketing system. “Organic,
Kosher and Jersey products are now
available in Ontario from Ontario
producers,” he said. “We support
the Dairy Product Innovation
Program at the national level, which
provides the opportunity for proces
sors to access milk for the develop
ment of innovative dairy products/’
