Obituaries PATRICIA ANNE WATSON Patricia Anne (Cameron) Watson of Brussels passed away at Wingham and District Hospital on Thursday, Feb. 3, 2000. She was in her 59th year. Pat was the beloved wife of Ralph Watson and dear mother of Michael Watson and his wife Valerie. She was the loved grandmother of Lindsay, Andrew, Zachary and Nathan of RR4, Brussels and dear daughter of Mary Cameron. Pat was the dear sister of Eileen Pitchford and her husband Jack of Kitchener, Betty Lambier and her husband Bob of Palmerston, Ed Cameron and his wife Fran of Palmerston, Tom Cameron and his wife Sharon of Belgrave, Jack Cameron and his wife Gloria of Listowel, Don Cameron and his wife Dianne of Wingham and Bob Cameron and his wife Lilian of Owen Sound. She was also loved by her brother-in-law John Watson and his wife Wendy of Kitchener and sister-in-law Mary Heise and her husband Vern of RR2, Bluevale and mother and father-in- law alma and Carson Watson. Pat was predeceased by her father Alfred Cameron. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of the life of Patricia Watson will be held at Brussels United Church on Sunday, Feb. 13 at 2 p.m. with Mrs. Joan Golden offici­ ating. In lieu of flowers, memorial dona­ tions may be made to the Brussels United Church Uplift Fund. Arrangements were entrusted to the Schimanski Family Funeral Home. JUDY HIBMA “We praise the Lord for releasing Mom from her pain and taking her home to Himself.” At the Woodstock Private Hospital on Saturday, Feb. 5, 2000, Judy Hibma (nee Algera) formerly of London passed away in her 90th year. She was the beloved wife of Don Hibma who predeceased her in 1982. She was the mother of Gaye Datema and her husband Merv of Blyth, Cobie Hanenburg and her husband William of Innerkip, Richard and his wife Wendy of London, John and his wife Heather of Woodstock and Sippe ano his wife Delia of Cathcart. Mrs. Hibma was the loved grand­ mother of 17 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren and dear sister of Sylvia of B.C. and Siepke of Holland. Daughters Dorothy (1952) and Sandy (1962), a brother Pete and her sister Stientje predeceased her. Judy was a long-time member of the Christian Reformed Churches. Friends were received at the Covenant Christian Reformed Church, Lansdowne Ave., Woostock. The funeral service was held Monday at 2 p.m. Rev. Gerald Hogeterp officiated. Interment will be in the Mount Pleasant Cemetery, London. Contributions to the Back to God Hour would be appreciated and may be arranged through the R.D. HECTOR LAMONT KNIGHT Peacefully at Quinte Health Care Prince Edward County Memorial, on Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2000, Hector Lamont Knight of Main Street, Picton, passed away in his 93rd year. He was the beloved husband of the late Olive and loved father of George Milford. He was the dear brother of Eleanor Hemingway of Cranbrook and the late Russell, Gordon, Alfred, Walter, Elmer and Goldwin. He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren John and Andrew. Mr. Knight rested at the Whattam Funeral Home, 33 Main St. W., Picton. Funeral service was in the chapel on Saturday, Feb. 5 at 2 p.m. Rev. Lloyd Paul officiated. Cremation followed. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. (Cheques preferred please). ' Visiting R.Ex. Companion Lee A. Ernest Dow ALL ARE WELCOME 523-4224 Suddenly while attending a con­ ference in San Francisco on Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2000, Dr. James McGregor of Wingham passed away. He was 71. He was the beloved husband of Ene (Ajango) McGregor and dear father of Douglas and Gail McGregor of Toronto, Scott and Linda McGregor of Barrington, Illinois, Eric McGregor of Woodstock, Kimberly McGregor of Ancaster and Andrea and Erik Preusse of New York. He is survived by his brother Douglas D. McGregor of Ithaca, New York and seven grandchildren. Dr. McGregor was predeceased by his parents Douglas U. and Evelyn M. (Johnson) McGregor. Dr. McGregor studied pre-med at the University of Western Ontario and received his medical degree from McGill University. He com­ pleted eight years of post graduate work in New Mexico, Buffalo and Philadelphia. He moved his family to Wingham in 1967 and became a family practi­ tioner, a position he maintained at the time of his death. He was the medical advisor for Wescast Industries Inc., a coroner for the Province of Ontario for 32 years, a former Medical Officer of Health for the County of Huron and had served as a member of Wingham Town Council. Memorial services will be held at the Wingham United Church on Saturday, Feb. 12 at 2 p.m. with Rev. John P. Vaudry officiating. Cremation has taken place. Interment later in Waterdown Cemetery.
