The Brussels Tykes took to the
ice at home Saturday ready to
avenge their early season loss to the
Blyth Whites.
The end-to-end action started as
soon as the puck dropped with Nic
Gowing and Cole McLean having
good shots on net.

Huether’s first shot, but Huether hit
the target the next time, scoring at
12:08.
Following a stopped shot off the
stick of Brendan Stretton, Huether
picked up the puck and deked
Dodds for his second.

through the defenders and slid one
over the line with 20 seconds left in
the first to pct Brussels up 3-0.
At 13:02 of the second, M.

shots for their teammates including
one in close by Randy Zwep, but
he was stopped.

helped keep the play in the Blyth
end.

boards by Jordan Roberts, Chris
Becker, Andrew Watson and Con
ner Smith added to the strong
offense.
Brussels netminder Cronin han
dled the increased activity in the
third period well, stopping many
shots in close.

Blyth at 3:43 of the second on a
