A Note from Betty
What a terrific time of year. January - time to appreciate the splendour of
sun and snow, time to realize the power of nature and whiteouts, time to
relax the outside duties, time to do those little inside jobs, time to think
about life, time to read, time to make snow angels. Enjoy the realities of
winter.
Good news from the hospital in London. Ruth Lowe is ticking along just
great and Edna Pearson is recovering nicely. We’re thinking about you
ladies, keep up the good work and we’ll see you soon in Brussels.
If you see Jason Gropp with a permanent grin, just smile back. Jason is the
proud owner of a permanent teaching position et Floradale School in
Waterloo Region. Have a good time with your Grade 7/8 class Jason.
If you thought you were chilly on Sunday the Ottawa boys report -26° for
their walking weather. Don’t forget to wear the thermals Archie.
I hope you’ve got rid of your colds and flu. Be sure to stay at home and
keep your wee bugs to yourself until you’re feeling better. That’s the best
way to keep illness to yourself.
Bye now,
Betty G.
