In Grade 5 she taught me how to speak in front of the class, in Grade 7 she taught me not to be a worry wart. And this year she taught me I could do any­ thing. I owe her much for the life’s lessons and memories. I wouldn’t have had them without her. S - Actually I owe Mrs. Reynolds a lot too. She has taught me a lot of stuff in the past four years. She has taught me how to use the skills God gave me, like leadership qualities. She has been a great teacher and I think most of us will miss her very much, along with many other teach­ ers. What are you going to miss, Hilary? H - I’m going to miss being with all my friends together, sharing jokes and spreading smiles. I’m going to miss everything that I won’t be able to take with me to high school, including some friends. But what I will be able to take with me are memories, and those are more important than even another year at Seaforth Public. S - This is the last time we will be together in an environment like this. Next year we will be splitting up and going to CHSS, St. Anne’s and Mitchell. H - Yes, but moving forward and going our separate ways is part of growing up. S - Hilary, do you know what the best way to predict your future is? H - What is it, Scott? S - To create it. H - I think it was Abraham Lincoln who said: The best thing about the future is ... S - That it only comes one day at a time. The mathematics improvement award was given to Erin Moore. Nathan Schultz received the art award, and the most improved male student academic award.
