BEACOM. I’m home! I want to
express my sincere appreciation to
my friends, neighbours and family
for their get well wishes during my
hospital stay in January and
subsequent recuperation at The
Colonial Retirement Home in
Whitby. I send special thanks to
Joan Jacobs and Betty Graber-
Watson for calling the ambulance
and staying with me until my
family arrived; to Joan Golden for
her visits to Wingham; and to
friends and relatives who sent
cards, gifts, flowers and phoned or
dropped in to check on my
progress. My appreciation goes to
Dr. Shaun Marshall, the kind
nursing staff of second floor
Wingham Hospital, and the
dedicated therapy team (Matt, Liz,
Jody and Janelle) for their help.
Finally, special thanks to my “kids”
for their unfailing love and support
to help me come home. I am richly
blessed. Most sincerely - Phyllis
