I want to express my sincere appreciation to my friends, neighbours and family for their get well wishes during my hospital stay in January and subsequent recuperation at The Colonial Retirement Home in Whitby. I send special thanks to Joan Jacobs and Betty Graber- Watson for calling the ambulance and staying with me until my family arrived; to Joan Golden for her visits to Wingham; and to friends and relatives who sent cards, gifts, flowers and phoned or dropped in to check on my progress. My appreciation goes to Dr. Shaun Marshall, the kind nursing staff of second floor Wingham Hospital, and the dedicated therapy team (Matt, Liz, Jody and Janelle) for their help.
