They had a special visitor come to their class. Chubby was a baby piglet, one of many baby animals they’ve been learning about this month. A favourite book of the children has been If You See A Kitten by John Butler. The junior pre-school Stars have been talking about R. The children have been busy doing all sorts of crafts relating to the letter R as well as reading stories about the letter R. They really enjoy learning all the letters of the alphabet. The senior pre-school Acorns have been busy preparing for their pretend trip to Florida. They have been booking trips at their very own travel agency, reading the travel brochures and magazines and predicting the weather. They received new books for their classroom from the profits of their bake sale. They’ve enjoyed buddy reading with their new Clifford phonics packs. They enjoyed a picnic outside on one of the nice days and they hope the weather stays that way.
