Grey Central’s spring concert took
place Tuesday, April 22 at 7:30 p.m.

with and obtain information from a
range of community services at Grey

Pratley, principal from Listowel

teacher and parent, was instrumental
in organizing this informative
evening.
In Mrs. Bowler’s class the
students were busy doing Easter
crafts such as making chicks and
bunnies. They are learning Easter
poems and singing Easter songs.
Mrs. Smith’s kindergarten C class
is working on the upper and lower
case letters from H - M. They made
Easter baskets and coloured hard-
boiled eggs.
Miss Hill’s Grade Is and 2s had
lots of fun at their party. They
worked hard preparing for the spring
concert and getting ready for Easter.
Mrs. Goodall’s Grade Is practised
sign language for the spring concert
and are learning subtraction in math.
They watched their bean seeds
grow in their zip-lock bag. They are
really sprouting.
They did many Easter crafts
including: cotton ball bunny
puppets, bingo dabber Easter eggs,
bunny ear crowns, egg baskets and
chicks hatching out of eggs.
They also had an “eggs”-
traordinary Easter egg hunt.
Miss Aarssens’ Grade 4/5s are
creating their own newspapers. They
decorated plastic Easter eggs for
Easter.
Mr. Walker’s Grade 5s are
learning about Leonardo DaVinci in
science and the Grade 6s are doing
electricity.
Both grades had a film test on war
movies for social studies and had a
final probability test on Wednes
day.
Miss Henry’s Grade 7s are writing
a story for language and are
preparing -to present their French
projects. They started a new history
unit on the Loyalists and are
continuing to learn about
ecosystems.
There was a dance for Grades 4-8
on Thursday afternoon. Everyone
had great time.
