LOWE. John W. Lowe. We, the
family, would like to thank all who
helped us out at this very tragic
time in the sudden loss of our very
special son and daddy, March 18,
2003. Thank you to those who
brought food, sent flowers, made
phone calls and sent cards, it is all
overwhelming. A big thank you to
the Brussels Firemen who worked
so hard to try and save John, you
guys should be proud of yourselves
and your fire department. Job well
done - some things are not in our
control. A special thank you also to
Bob and Laura Bridge for their
kindness the night of the fire and to
all of John’s neighbours on John St.
and to our many friends and
neighbours who supported us at
this very difficult time. Thank you
to Joan Golden and Mark Davidson
in doing a wonderful service in
memory of John, and also for the
love and support they have shown
us. Thank you to Tracey, Tina,
John A. and Nicole for their
tributes and Julie Henry, speaking
on behalf of Campbell’s Soup, a
co-worker and friend. Thank you to
Schimanski Family Funeral Home
for support and assistance at this
difficult time. A special thank you
to the ladies of the United Church
who served a wonderful lunch to so
many people. You people are pros
in the way you fed the multitude.
We, the family will never forget
anyone of you and your acts of
kindness shown to us. God bless
you all. - Grace McCall, Wayne
and Hope Lowe and (Daddy’s little
girl) Skylar. 13-1

WHEELER. I would like to say a
very big thank you to the Brussels
Lions Club and the Brussels
Optimist Club for their donations
towards the mission trip I was just
on. I am pleased to report that I am
safely back from Sophia, Bulgaria
where my group and I worked with
the Red Cross. It was the
experience of a lifetime. We also
had the opportunity to do some
travelling. I can’t wait to share it
with you when I am home for the
summer in June. I would also like
to thank my family for their support
and my grandfather for coming to
Indiana to get me home for a few
days and to my grandmother for
having Easter early so that we
could all be together. It is all very
much appreciated. - Brooklyn
