guardian angel looking down from
above grandpa Ray. We would like

everyone for a great surprise 40th

FISCHER. The family of the late
Ken Fischer would like to send
sincere thanks and appreciation to
family, friends and neighbours for
the overwhelming support during
the loss of a dear husband, father,
grandfather and best friend. To all
who made donations and sent floral
tributes your generosity was
amazing. The food that was sent to
all of the family was so thoughtful
and delicious. The cards that have
been sent to all of us have been
numerous and filled with words of
encouragement. Thanks to
Reverend Tom Wilson for his
heartfelt service. To Cassie Fischer,
Jenna Fischer and Krista Neable for
their moving words during the
service, and to Julie Bullivant-
Kirkby for her solo, a word of

Frank and Jennie you made sure
that everything ran smoothly. To all
of the wonderful nurses at
Community Nursing Services, you
are all so caring and nurturing and
much needed in our community.
Your care allowed Ken to be at
home with his family in his time of
need. Clara Blake, it is people like
you who make this world a better
place. Your soft spoken way and
personal touch put us all at ease.
Ken had a great respect for you.
Thank you to the Town and
Country Homemakers for helping
out the last week and a half. You
ladies are definite professionals
with a personal touch. Your caring
and kindness are unsurpassed. To
our friends who provided supper
for our whole family on Tuesday
night, thank you for welcoming our
large clan into your home, the food
was delicious. Thank you to all the
health care professionals at the
London Cancer Clinic, the
Wingham and District Hospital -
Cancer Unit, and Dr. Barry Neable
and staff at the Listowel Memorial
Hospital. A big thank you to the
ladies at the St. John’s Anglican
Church for providing such a lovely
luncheon. Everything was so well
organized. Ken would have been so
proud and happy to know so many
people came out to pay their
respects, it was quite a tribute to
him. It was a true testament to
Ken’s love of his town and the
people in it. Your kindness will

who remembered me while I was in
Wingham hospital. Thank you to
the Drs. and staff who were so kind

for his comforting words and

Care and the Community Nursing
