Public Works Department
The Municipality of Morris-Turnberry, in the County of Huron,
requires a skilled and experienced person to assume the
management of the Public Works Department.
Applicants who have a minimum of 5 years related
municipal experience, in a senior public works position, will be
given preference.

Employment Placement Coordinator
The County of Huron, under the Pathways initiative; requires
a full time person to work in the field of job development and
employment placement within Huron County. Funding for
this position is in place until December 2004 after which it
will be subject to an annual budget allocation.
The successful candidate will bring both education and
practical experience that can demonstrate the ability to assist
individuals secure employment within a broad range of
private and public organizations. The successful candidate
will participate as part of a countywide team that works in
partnership with numerous agencies and organizations to
secure employment opportunities and assist individuals with
successfully entering employment.
The successful candidate will possess post secondary
qualifications in employment counselling or equivalent.
Candidates should have a minimum of one-year experience in
the field of employment counselling. Knowledge of County
programs and local service agencies is required. Preference
will be given to candidates with Ontario Works and SDMT
experience. A valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle are
required.
