A 66-bed acute care hospital is seeking team oriented and highly motivated
REGISTERED NURSES with a current Certificate of Competence from
the College of Nurses of Ontario for the following positions:
EMERGENCY - CASUAL, REGULAR PART-TIME & TEMPORARY
REGULAR PART-TIME (June 15th to September 15th)
Excellent physical assessment skills. Certification in ACLS, ETLS or ATLS,
PALS and ENPC preferred. Applicants not fully qualified must be willing
to obtain qualifications within a reasonable period of time.
DIABETES NURSE EDUCATOR - REGULAR PART-TIME
Certified Diabetes Educator (or be willing to become qualified within one
year), experience in individual and group counseling, advanced assessment
skills and a member of Diabetes Educator Section. Experience in planning,
developing and implementing a diabetes education program, knowledge of
diabetes nutritional management and advanced knowledge of the
pathophysiology of diabetes its complications and prevention preferred.
ICU/MEDICAL UNIT - REGULAR PART-TIME
IV Therapy Certification with acute care nursing experience. ACLS and
Basic Arrhythmia Certification preferred.
All positions require a demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional
development, demonstrated clinical competence in nursing practice, good
organization, interpersonal and computer skills and the ability to work
rotating shifts, weekends, vacations and call-in.

Nurses. These positions include prescheduled and call in
shifts during the period Monday to Friday and weekends. The
successful candidate will provide holistic health care while
working as a member of the multidisciplinary team,
administering medications and treatments. The position
works closely with Registered Nurses to provide supervision
to members of the health care team.
Qualifications
