The Avon Maitland District School Board invites applications for a
permanent full-time skilled tradesperson. The skilled tradesperson
shall perform maintenance duties in a safe and productive manner in
school buildings as directed by Facilities Administration.
Duties may include:
• plumbing repairs and upgrades;
• boiler repairs and trouble shooting;
• preventative maintenance to all building mechanical
systems, heating ventilation systems, repairs and upgrades.
The ideal candidate will possess:
• valid drivers license;
• provincial certificate of qualification as a Plumber, as well as
at least one or more of the following licenses:
Oil Burner Mechanic, Gas Fitter #1, Gas Fitter #2;
• 5 years experience in one or more of the above trades in
addition to apprenticeship work requirements.
