PAGE 13. DREAM HOME OF THE MONTH DESIGN FOR A NARROW LOT Plan No. H-9-3-192 This three-bedroom family plan encompasses a generous amount of living space in a home designed for a narrow city lot. Within a width of just over 25 feet, the exceptionally practical floor plan includes all the rooms and features that are sure to satisfy today's families. Glass in and around the front door and a wall of glass block around the curving staircase give the two-storey foyer an abundance of natural light. The main floor is occupied by the sleeping area, an arrangement that appeals to many of today's homebuyers. The master suite at the rear iS large and luxurious, with a wall of glass and a sliding door to the covered patio. Opposite closets, one a full walk-in, separate the bedroom from the bathroom and conveniently turn this space into a dressing area. The stunning six-piece en suite bathroom includes a double vanity, corner soaker tub with glass block feature and shower. A half-wall gives privacy to the toilet and bidet. Two secondary bedrooms share the main bathroom. The laundry room has a countertop for folding clothes. This open arrangement means that family members are able to stay in touch throughout this area. The breakfast room includes a useful telephone desk and a broom closet and the kitchen, also a good size, has plenty of counter space. A powder room is conveniently located behind the dining room and opposite the family room. The exterior of the house is enhanced by its contemporary window design, which is echoed in the windows above the front door. The house is 25 feet, 4 inches wide and 54 feet deep with 2,384 square feet of living space.
