In the 2l st century.. a new set of meanings in the cultural environment is ready to attach itself to activities that in parents' memories seemed entirely innocent. Today's children are growing up in a -"postmodern" environment where science and reason• have less weight than before. New Age and eastern religions, yoga, Wicca. satanism. and a pervasive preoccupation with the occult all converge to impress upon me young consciousness that there really is a diverse spiritual world out there.
