(Janice Becker photo) By BRENDA RADFORD Call 523-4296 Everyone at Hullett Central Public School this week of Oct. 20 - 26 is concentrating on the virtue of "determination". Novalis is quoted with "Character is a perfectly educated Will". The school building was being used Oct. 19 for education of another type. The St. John Ambulance group conducted a babysitting course. These courses better prepare young people_for the responsibilities involved when caring for children. Parents can feel more comfortable leaving their tots knowing their sitter has passed these courses. Ihe school will he used again this coming 'Saturday.• Oct. 26 by. the Londesboro United Church for their Time, Talent and Treasure Auction. Auctioneer Bob Trick will begin the live auction at 7:30 p.m. offering a wide variety of items from quilts to a family portrait sitting. There will also be a silent auction, Viewing and silent auction begin at 5:30 p.m. Proceeds are for the ongoing work of the church. Refreshments will be served during the evening by the Grade 8 students as a fundraiser for their end of the year grad trip. A porkchop barbecue supper prepared by the Londesboro Lions Club runs from 5 - 7 p.m. that same day. So, have supper at the Londesboro Hall and walk across the street for an evening of shopping (perhaps for Christmas gifts). Donations over $10.00 will receive a charitable tax receipt. SEAFORTH MEDICAL CLINIC Prescription Renewals effective October 15, 2002, the Seaforth Medical. Clinic will be charging a $10.00 fee for patients requesting to have prescription renewals picked up at the reception desk. Patients are reminded to call the Clinic to make an appointment well in advance to have their prescriptions renewed. There is no charge applied for prescriptions renewed at time of appointment.
