There is one suggestion of possible imminent change in the Listowel area, however, with the report stating "available pupil places at Wallace (Public School in Gowanstown) and the proximity of this school to Listowel suggest that a border realignment within Listowel will help to alleviate overcrowding in Listowel schools at this time." That amounts to a Suggestion that some Listowel students could be asked to relocate to Gowanstown. The St. Marys area meanwhile, presents a scenario that is described in the report as "somewhat similar to circumstances in Mitchell," with regards to the congregation of Grades 7 and 8 students- in the high school. However, the authors seem to have once again stumbled upon the obstacle of Downie Central PS, a facility which has been placed then removed from the final closure list in two previousreviews. In short, the school, located between St. Marys and Stratford, is too far from any neighbouring Schools to conveniently accommodate all students, and the report suggests that congregation of St. Marys-area senior elementary students "would not result in significant savings as no consolidation of student space would result." • Two other fac i I i ty- based The Brussels Crusaders were looking to get in the win column this past weekend after three lopsided defeats.
