Couple advises forgiveness in marriage By Amy Zoethout Lucknow Sentinel .vtql1 Forgiveness is one of the keys to a long happy marriage, according to Mary and Cyril Boyle who celebrated their 50th anniversary on Sept, 10. "You have to be ready to forgive and forget." said Mary. "You have to he understanding." "If you have a problem, sort it out yourself instead of walking away from each other." advised Cyril. Family and friends gathered at the couple's West Wawanosh farm recently to help them celebrate their anniversary. It was .at a dance in St. Augustine where Cyril met Mary Phelan of Blyth. They began dating then on Sept. 10, 1952, were married at St. Michael's Church in Blyth by Mary's uncle. Cyril's best man was Mary's Though Ashfield-Colborne- Wawanosh council had budgeted just $52,000 from the transition board funds for the renovation of the cold storage shed at the Colborne shed depot, a higher tender was accepted.
