Couple advises forgiveness in marriage
By Amy Zoethout
Lucknow Sentinel .vtql1
Forgiveness is one of the keys to a
long happy marriage, according to
Mary and Cyril Boyle who
celebrated their 50th anniversary on
Sept, 10.
"You have to be ready to forgive
and forget." said Mary. "You have to

"If you have a problem, sort it out
yourself instead of walking away
from each other." advised
Cyril.
Family and friends gathered at the
couple's West Wawanosh farm
recently to help them celebrate their
anniversary.
It was .at a dance in St. Augustine

Council reviewed two quotes at
the Aug, 22 meeting, both were

amount. However, Pegg
Construction's bid of $57,380,
including taxes was approved. The
additional funds will be taken from
the municipal restructuring fund.
The recently-adopted burning
bylaw caused some concerns for
residents, impelling two to attend
the meeting.

Mary Donlevy of Port Albert
spoke on the same issue.
Council agreed to revisit the
matter after contacting neighbouring
municipalities to determine how
bylaws differed.
Letters will also be sent to those
who wrote to council about their
concerns.
Byron Black, representing a
delegation from Loyal Line, spoke
to council about the poor condition
of the road. Council said the road
was on the list to be paved.
Council will apply for a JEEP
grant from the government which
helps municipalities prepare for
emergencies. Pending receipt of
funding, council accepted a quote
