PARKER Stuart Thomas Parker of Listowel. passed away at Listowel Memorial Hospital on Sunday, Sept. 8. 2(X)2. Stuart was in his 59th year. Born in Rugby, County of Warwick. England on July 16. 1944. Stuart was the son of Thomas Alfred Parker and the late Florence Agnes Cullaton. Stuart dedicated more than 40 years of service to the Canadian Armed Forces and was an active member of many community service organizations. A man of great faith, Stuart was a devout member of the Roman Catholic Church, giving in all ways to his church. Stuart will be sadly missed by his wife Karen Winnifred (Smith) Parker. He was the dear son of Thomas Parker and the late Florence Agnes Parker. Stuart was the loving father of Lisa Henry and her hus- band Andy of Gorrie, Tara Pipe and her husband Murray of Brussels, Lori Pipe and her husband Gary of Brussels, and Lara Graber and her husband Chris of Listowel. He was the loved brother of Gary Parker and his wife Barb of Grand Bend, and Elaine McDermott and her husband Terry of Coburg. He was the dear son-in-law of Lloyd and Alma Smith of Listowel, and nephew of Rev. Fr. V. Cullaton and Rev. Fr. L. Cullaton of Galt. Stuart was also loved by his 10 grandchildren, and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Friends were received by the fam- ily from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. Monday at the Schimanski Family Funeral Home, Brussels, where prayers were said Monday at 7 p.m. by Rev. Father Matthias Wronski. The funer- al mass was celebrated by Rev. Fr. Graham Keep and co-celebrants Rev. Fr. Ron Paquette. Rev. Fr. John Pluta and Rev. Fr. Matthias Wronski from St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church. Brussels. on Tuesday, Sept. 10 at 10 a.m. Pallbearers were Murray Pipe, Andy Henry, Chris Graber, Gary Pipe, Brian McDermott, Mark McDermott, Major Roger Turcotte and Tom Parker. Cremation followed with inter- ment in St. Ambrose Cemetery, Brussels. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the London Regional Cancer Centre, North Perth Community Hospice or to Listowel Memorial Hospital. WILLIAM (BILL) MARTIN MCNAIR Mr. William McNair of London, formally of Brussels passed away peacefully at Versa Care on Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2002. He was in his 87th year. He vas the husband and friend for 66 years of Norma (Speiran) and dear father of daughters, Lavarre Clark and Robert Mustard and Dianne Allen and Bruce, all of London. He was grandfather of Scott Clark, Strathroy, Shane Clark of Regina, Linda Allen of Portland, Oregan and Joanne Allen of Hamilton. Mr. McNair was predeceased by a sister Muriel Sinclair in 1998 and brother Arnold in 1962. Bill was a past Master of Union Masonic Lodge 380 London and P.Z. of London Chapter R.A.M. The funeral and interment was on Saturday, Sept. 14 at 2 p.m. at Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel in London. Rev. Keith Rameshwar of Dundas St. Centre United Church officiated. In remembrance donations to Dundas St. Centre United Church or charity of your choice would be appreciated. DONALD JAMES CLARK Donald J. Clark of RR2. Brussels, passed away. on the farm where he was born, raised and lived his entire life, on the 14th Conc. of Grey Twp. on Friday, Sept. 13, 2002. Born on Sept. 20. 1926, Donald was in his 76th year. Donald was a faithful member of the Order of Foresters, active in his community and Knox Presbyterian Church in Cranbrook. He was the dear son of the late James Clark and Mary MacDonald and dear brother of Isabelle Craig and her husband Bill of RR2, Blyth. Donald was the loved uncle of Ross and Stephanie Craig and their chil- dren Bruce and Heather, Murray Craig and his children Melanie and Melissa, Roger and Connie Craig. Ian and Nicole Craig and Mary Craig. He was predeceased by his niece Nancy Craig and Elyssa Craig. Friends were received by the fam- ily from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. Sunday at the Schimanski Family Funeral Home, Brussels. A Forester service under the auspices of Kinburn Court No. 6157 .OF was held Sunday at 9 p.m. The funeral service was conducted from the funeral home Monday. Sept. 16 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Cathrinc Campbell officiating. Pallbearers were Ross Alccick, Lloyd Smith, Graeme MacDonald. The Alexandra Marine and General Hospital, Goderich, the Clinton Public Hospital and the South Huron Hospital, Exeter joint- ly announced Sept. 16 they have provided the required one-year notice to withdraw from the Huron Perth Hospitals Partnership. . This announcement follows on the heels of the tither five partner hospi- tals' notice to withdraw. Janet Cameron, board chair, Clinton Public Hospital states, "We are proud of the accomplishments of the HPHP and we are committed to explore with other Network 10 hos- pitals new and innovative ways of working together." The Ministry of Health's Rural and Northern Healthcare Framework has identified the eight hospitals in Huron Perth as Network 10. This document outlines the vari- ous ways rural hospitals should work together to improve local delivery of care. All hospital boards are now inves- Ross Craig, Stewart Steiss, and Murray Craig.
