Gloria Wilke. of Walton
conducted the morning service at
Londesboro United Church on
SundaY Sept. 15.
During the children's time Ms
Wilbee chose several children to
stand together based on the different
colours of their clothes. The colours
chosen were rainbow colours.
She told the young people that the
rainbow is a promise by God that
each person is unique but special .to
Him. Then accompanying herself on
guitar Ms Wilbee gang What a
Wondetful World.
By coincidence the senior choir
offered a hymn anthem. Simon.

of lone hands with eight.
Share-the-wealth winners were
Wilmer Glousher, Marjorie Smith
and Delores Howatt.
The next card party will be held on

how all persons with differing trails
have something unique to offer to
God and His ministry.
The first scripture passage chosen
by Ms Wilbee, Romans 14: 1,12,
teaches that no man should judge
another, for one day God will judge
all of us. In Matthew 18: 21-35,
Jesus tells Peter that a man should
forgive another's trespasses as often
as God would.
The service's call to worship
contained the words of Desmond
Tutu: "We want peace, prosperity
and justice and we can have it when
all the people of God, the rainbow
people of God, work together."
