Rural heroes
to receive
tribute
In memory of the tragic events of
Sept. 11, Land O'Lakes Feed
announced it will be paying tribute
to Ontario's Rural Heroes at this
year's Outdoor Farm Show held
Sept. 10, 11 and 12 in Woodstock.
As part of the tribute, Land
O'Lakes Feed is inviting all of
Ontario's Rural Volunteer
Firefighters to the show on Sept. 11
free of charge and to have lunch at
the Land O'Lakes Lookout.
"We felt it was a small way of
saying thanks to the many men and
women who put their lives on the
line and who can be called away at a
moments notice from their family"
said Brad Adams, marketing
manager at Land O'Lakes Feed in
Guelph.
Any of Ontario's rural volunteer
firefighters can attend by just
showing their badge or
identification at the show to gain
entrance on Sept. 11. They can find
the Land O'Lakes Lookout, located
in the heart of the livestock pavilion,
present the same identification and
receive lunch compliments of Land
O'Lakes Feed.
Land O'Lakes Feed is a division
of Land O'Lakes Inc., a farmer-
owned co-operative based in
Minneapolis, Minnesota.
