A very pleasant surprise was to see her son. Max, of Dryden there when she arrived. Max's wife Lynne, Krista, Andrea and Jeff were not able to come and also Kerry Ann and Nicolas were away. It was a very special day. Special birthday greetings are also extended to Thelma from the community of friends and neighbours. May Rinn is a patient at Wingham and District Hospital. Friends and neighbours wish May a speedy recovery. Sincere sympathy is extended to Elaine and Jim Scott of Goderich and Lorna and Wayne Brown of Wingham on the loss of a dear mother, Olive Bolt who passed away at Wingham and District Hospital on Wednesday, July 17. She will be sadly missed also by nine grandchildren, 11 great- grandchildren. six step- grandchildren, and 21 step-great- grandchildren as well as friends and neighbours in the community. Morris-Turnberry discusses zoning amendment During the July 16 se :sion of Morris-Turnberry council, a public meeting was held to discuss a zoning amendment for North Half Lot 16, Conc. 4 (Cardiff Rd.).,Morris Ward. It was proposed to change the zoning from .general agriculture to agriculture small holding-special provisions. The special provision limits the existing barn and the subject property to two animal units per acre. The area affected is approximately 3.46 acres. There were questions from the gallery regarding surpluS residences, drainage and fencing. Councillor Neil Warwick asked if the animal units were consistent with the nutrient management bylaw. However, because the application was submitted prior to the new bylaw the two units would apply. Pending the 20-day appeal period. council passed a bylaw to allow the zoning amendment. A motion was passed accepting the drainage plan I'm Lot 2. Conc. 5. Morris Ward. No storm management plan was required. The zoning amendment for the part lot will also proceed. It will change from general agriculture to village residential. A bylaw was passed to permit the purchase of land from Ross and Dianne G011 for the municipal purpose of a public highway. A drain repair request from Blyth Creek. Lot 8. Conc. 9. Morris Ward was withdrawn. Council approved payment of the police invoice in the amount ($f $24.865.35.
