The winner of the July ]9. 125th
calendar draw this week was Bill
Shaddick. Londesboro.
Only two weeks left until the big
weekend and Blyth is beginning to
look like we are going to celebrate.
If you still wish to decorate with

125th committee, they are available
at the General Store, Salon 54, Blyth
Decor and Manning's Building
Supplies. Let's make Blyth a place
people will remember.
Many former neighbours and
friends of Murray Musty travelled to
Listowel on Saturday, July 20 to
help Murray and Barb celebrate
Murray's 65th birthday. A good time
was had by all. Happy Birthday
Murray.
Judging for the Communities in
Bloom will take place this weekend.
Blyth is being judged on Monday,
July 29 and the judges will be in
Wingham, July 30. Let's get
everything in order and make
ourselves look great.
The Craigs gathered together on
Sunday, July 21 at the home of Joye
and Murray Kane of Fullarton to
visit with Helen Merheb and family
who are home from Lebanon on
vacation.
Greeting at Blyth United Church
on Sunday, July 21 was Joann
MacDonald. Guest speakers were
Paul and Marilyn Elgie from
Goderich. Guest musician was
Lynda Lentz-MacGregor.
Marilyn handed a piece of paper to
the children and also to some of the
adults. On it was printed SHMILY.
She explained that this was a gaine
that a family had played and the
children would find these notes
everywhere. The children were
given two clues. S was for the word
see and Y was for the word you. The

of Taylors on the land acquired from the Crown in 1852. In back, from left: Boyd Taylor, John
