Clerk-Administrator John Stewart agreed saying that when the issues start involving engineer's reports, council basically has to accept what'ss given them. Sitting on the committee, along with municipal staff are Councillors Arnold Taylor, Murray Nesbitt and Scott, though all councillors may attend if they choose. One water topic discussed was with regards to well testing in Blyth. Stewart explained that while a video study of one of the village's well is being done from July 16 to July 19, residents will need to limit daily water usage. "If we see we can't keep up with one well, then we will have to put a restriction on," said Stewart. Another issue involved the Belgrave water system. A letter from Andy McBride of Maitland Engineering noted that in the future there may be problems with the water in the hamlet. Stewart said that he and the public works staff were hoping to meet with McBride to get an explanation in laymen's terms. However, he added, "as I understand it the system as it is no‘;‘, - is working fine. The problem may be if that subdivision gets full we= may end up pumping from the Belgrave Creek and would have to do things to rectify that. The short story is it's going to cost us more money again down the road." There have alsobe concerns about one of the Wingham wells. A study (the former Clerk-Treasurer of the Township of Turnbeny and the former Clerk-Deputy Treasurer of the Municipality of Morris-Turnberry who retired August 1,2001.) The Council of Morris-Turnberry wishes to advise that it has been 1 year since your retirement - August 1, 2001 and we were remiss that a Retirement announcement was not placed in the newspaper last year. We wish at this time to correct that oversight. was recommended to address concerns about turbidity.
