Agriculture Brussels Livestock report Heiferprices range from $96 to $102 Total receipts for Brussels Livestock for the week ending July 12 were 1.710 head of cattle, 762 lambs and goats. On Tuesday the fed steers and heifers sold on a steady market. the cows traded steady. On Thursday, Holstein veal sold at prices steady to last week's market while the beef veal sold lower. Lambs sold on a steady trade. On Friday, calves sold at steady prices with the yearlings selling $2 to $4 higher. There were 398 steers on offer selling from $98 to $102 with sales to $116. J.K. Farms, Crediton, consigned a blonde steer weighing 1,385 lbs. sold to Norval Meat Packers for $116, with their overall consignment of forty steers averaging 1,478 lbs. selling for an Average of $101.31". The project was established to give Huron County farmers and residents the tools they need to take advantage of business opportunities that arise in their community.
