Agriculture Brussels Livestock report Lambs sell on full steady market, Thurs. Total receipts for the week ending June 21 were 1,881 head of cattle, 699 lambs and goats. On Tuesday the fed steers and heifers sold on a strong active trade at prices $1 higher. The cows sold on a steady market. On Thursday, the veal sold $2 to $5 lower. Lambs sold on fully steady market. On Friday all weights and classes of stockers sold at prices steady to last week. There were 439 steers on offer selling from $102 to $108 with sales to $113. Schmidt Brook Farms Inc., Woodstock, consigned one limousin steer weighing 1,410 lbs. which was purchased by Norwich Packers for $113. Their overall consignment of eleven steers average 1,584 lbs. selling for an average of $101.29. One gold steer consigned by Mark Fisher, Ayton, weighed 1,280 lbs. and sold to Norval MEat Packers for $111.50. His overall consignment of five steers averaged 1,226 lbs. for an average price of $108.31. Bill Lusted, Chesley, consigned one limousin steer weighing 1,115 lbs. which sold to Dominion Meats for $105. J. K. Gielen Farms, Crediton, consigned two charolais steers averaging 1,443 lbs. selling to Dominion Meats for $108.25. Their overall consignment of forty steers averaged 1,482 lbs. for an average price of $104.89. Eleven steers consigned by Samuel M. Martin, Chesley, averaged 1,424 lbs. and sold for an average of $104.68 with his top limousin steer weighing 1,330 lbs. selling for $110. One red steer consigned by D. M. McAlpine Farms Inc., Ailsa Craig, weighed 1,375 lbs. and sold for $107.75. Their overall consignment of seventy-seven steers averaged 1,462 lbs. selling for an average of $104.30. Eight steers consigned by Ken Blackler, St. Marys, averaged 1,343 lbs. and sold for an average of $102.87 with his top limousin steers averaging 1.315 lbs. selling for $107.50. Louis VanHooydonk, Al‘ inston, consigned five steers averaging 1,381 lbs. selling for an average of $102.56 .with his top black steer weighing 1,285 lbs. selling to Norwich Packers for $109.50. One charolais steer consigned by Cunningham Farms, Lucan, weighed 1,370 lbs. selling to Dominion Meats for $106.75. Their overall consignment of forty steers averaged 1,497 lbs. for an average of $102.34. Joel Martin, Paisley, consigned ten steers averaging 1,564 lbs, selling for an average of $100.17 with his top limousin steer weighing 1,545 lbs. selling for $108.25. There were 207 heifers on offer selling from $102 to $108 with sales to $112.50. Hugh Love, Atwood, consigned two red heifers averaging 1.190 lbs. selling to Dominion Meats for $112.50. His overall consignment of fourteen heifers averaged 1,242 lbs. selling for an average of $105.84. One limousin heifer consigned by Roy A. McCulloch, Allenford, weighed 1,105 lbs. and sold for $111.50. His total consignment of 17 heifers averaged 1,217 lbs. which sold for an average price of $103.01. Salverda Bros., Londesboro, consigned four red heifers averaging 1,335 lbs. for an average price of $102.81 with their top heifer weighing 1,305 lbs. selling to Moyer Packing Co. for $103. One red heifer consigned by Alan Hern, Woodham, weighed 1,235 lbs. and sold for $106.25. His overall consignment of four heifers averaged 1,273 lbs. for an average of $102.66. Johnston Farms, Bluevale, consigned twenty-four heifers averaging 1,238 lbs. selling for an average of $102.49 with their top nine gold heifers averaging 1,184 lbs. selling for $103.60. Six heifers consigned by Tom Hem, Woodham, averaged 1,367 lbs. and sold for an average price of $101.84 with one gold heifer weighing 1,350 lbs. selling for $107. Karl Terpstra, Mitchell, consigned one gold heifer weighing 1,170 lbs. which sold to Norwich Packers for $105. His overall consignment of seven heifers average 1,261 lbs. for an average of $99.81. Eighteen heifers consigned by Lyle and Dave Noble, Glencairn, averaged 1,249 lbs. and sold for an average of $99.45 with one limousin heifer weighing 1,410 lbs. selling to Dominion Meats for $99.45. Dan Hoggart, Londesboro, consigned three charolais heifers averaging 1,110 lbs. selling to Highland Packers Ltd. for $104. His overall consignment of five heifers averaged 1,119 lbs. for an average of $96.79. Seven heifers consigned by John Black, Goderich, averaged 1,469 lbs. selling for an average of $95.66 with his top limousin heifer weighing 1,275 lbs. selling for $108.25. There were 261 cows on offer. Dl and D2 cows sold $65 to 70 with sales to $78; D3, $60 to 65; D4, $50 to $60. Murray Marks, Belgrave, consigned one gold cow weighing 1,565 lbs. selling to Aylmer Meat Packers for $78. Ken Scholtz. Chatsworth, consigned one charolais cow weighing 1,720 lbs. and one charolais cow weighing 1,425 lbs. which both sold to Aylmer Meat Packers for $76. One black cow consigned by Carman Brears, Walkerton, weighed 1,625 lbs. and sold for $75. There were eight bulls on offer from $72.50 to $84 with sales to $92. Ken Taylor, Kemble, consigned one limousin bull weighing 1,900 lbs. which was purchased by Aylmer Meat Packers for $92. One charolais bull consigned by Gary Hillis, Grand Valley, weighed 2,330 lbs. selling to Levinoff Meat Products for $84. There were 176 head of veal on offer. Beef sold $100 to $143; Holstein $80 to $94.50; Plain Holstein, $65 to $80. A simmental steer consigned by Henry L. Miller, Lucknow, weighing 685 lbs. sold for $143. A black steer consigned by Mike Durnin, Auburn, weighing 695 lbs. sold for $109. Kyle Weatherspoon of Burkley consigned five veal averaging 617 lbs. selling for an average of $92.32 with sales to $96. Lambs, under 50 lbs., sold $96 to `$107.50; 50 - 64 lbs., $82 to $110; 65 - 79 lbs., $90 to $115; 80 - 94 lbs., $92 to $107; 95'to $109 lbs., $100 to $106; 110 lbs. and over, $90 to $101. Goats sold $40 to $107. Sheep sold $26 to $63.
