Intern pastor at Christian Reformed Church The ministry is actually a second career for Kuperus, who now lives in the manse with his wife Helen and their children, Joshua, five; Brianna, three; Nicole, two and Alisha, six months. Born and raised on a dairy farm, he owns a feed and pet store which is now taken care of by his parents and a manager. Accepted for summer internships at Blyth and Kemptville, Kuperus says making up his mind was helped by Ralph deVries. "He was a good communicator and efficient. I felt this was where I was meant to go." If both sides are interested his final internship could also be completed at Blyth CRC. After that Kuperus will go before the Calvin board and if approved, calls are extended to him from churches. His 10 weeks in Blyth, he says, should be " a good feeler for both the church and myself. They have the option after that to not take the next step." ft Custom Creations Rock Designed and Carved By Cheryl R.
