Successful candidates will possess: • Social Sciences Bachelor Degree and appropriate combination of training and experience focused on children and child development. Training and experience in individual counselling with child victim/witnesses of woman abuse. • Training and experience in the provision of advocacy for child victim/witnesses of woman abuse. • Relevant knowledge of political, social and economic issues affecting women and children. • Demonstrated ability to effectively handle crisis situations both in person and by telephone. • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. • The ability to work in a women-centred organization that bases its services on a feminist understanding of woman abuse.
