THE CITIZEN, WEDNESDAY, MAY 15, 2002. Man brings two businesses to Brussels By David Blaney Citizen staff Plaster, stucco and car care — Don Neville admits that his two businesses make an odd couple. However he doesn't spend any time worrying about it. When Neville decided to move the only took a few hours a week." The car care business seemed to be a natural. The building was well set up for it and his daughter would be able to look after the business. This is Neville's second location. At the moment the main location for the stucco and plastering business is located in the K-W area. However if things progress as he hopes the intention is to consolidate his operation in Brussels. Much of the business consists of on-site plaster and stucco work. However, Neville also produces prefabricated stucco panels that are often used to retrofit buildings. The panel's design and the fact that they are fitted to the outside of a building makes them a convenient and easy way to renovate while adding insulation with a minimum of mess. The panels are constructed from a base consisting of foam over a hollow wooden form or from medium density foam. The stucco is then applied in whatever colour required. Much of the current production is being shipped to the U.S. where they are installed by an American firm. That company currently uses the panels on the KFC franchises it is constructing and renovating. The car care business is a new venture but Neville says that he will soon have a complete line of accessories available. He currently cleans and details cars and can provide window tinting if a customer wants. Shortly he will be able to install everything from bug deflectors to new carpet. The company's cleaning abilities are dramatically illustrated by a series of before and after photos on the wall. From four litres of used motor oil ground into a car's rug to a dashboard that looks white washed, he has seen and dealt with just about everything. As Neville says, "Nobody brings you a clean vehicle." They will be holding a grand opening on May 25 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and everyone is invited to attend. The website is not up and running yet but he can be reached at 887-9735 or by email at golfer@ezlink.on.ca . Canada has one of the highest rates of multiple sclerosis in the world.
