12 tables in play at shoot party

Twelve tables of shoot were in
play at the Community Centre on
Friday, April 26. Winners were: high
lady, Mary Taylor; second high lady,
Mary McIntosh; most shoots, Carol
Dater; low lady, Donna Shaw; high
The Belgrave Community Club
met on Friday, May 3 at 1:30 p.m.
The meeting opened with the
singing of- 0 Canada followed by
the reading of the minutes of the
previous meeting.
The treasurer's report was given
and accepted.
The Belgrave Community Club is
hosting two events for the Seniors
man, Jim Coultes; most shoots, Bev
Hayden; low man, Evelyn
Christensen; second high, Ted
Thompson.
The next shoot is Friday, May 10
at 1:30 p.m.
games; cribbage on May 23 sand
bridge on May 28 beginning at 10
a.m.
The Belgrave Club will travel to
Huronlea on May 14 to help with the
birthday celebrations.
Shoot parties will be held on May
`10 and May 24.
The next regular meeting will be
June 7 at 1:30 p.m.
There were eight tables of euchre
in play on Wednesday, May 1.
Winners were: high lady, Louise
Bosman; second high lady, Lois
Chamney; most lone hands, Janet
Mathers; low lady, Mary Taylor;
high man, Aileen Leddy; second
high man, Jack Taylor; most lone
hands, Jim Coultes; low man, Jim
Hunter.

May 8 at 8 p.m. ,
Club to host Senior Games events
Bob and Jane Grasby and Laura
Johnston spent the weekend with
George and Mary Johnston in
Ilderton and visited at the home of
Scott and Tara Redmond in
Woodbridge.
Dorothy Watson of Forest and
sister-in-law of Jean Pattison, was a
guest for a few days at Jean's home
and also visited with other relatives
and friends.
A surprise 80th birthday party for
Jack Taylor was held on Saturday,
May 4 in the Women's Institute Hall.
Relatives attended from New
Hamburg, London, Toronto,
Brussels, Belgrave, Ripley, Mitchell,
Listowel, Shakespeare and St.
Augustine. All enjoyed a delicious
potluck supper.
