Former Blyth Festival Artistic
Director Janet Amos returns to per-
form on the Blyth Festival stage this
summer in Goodbye, Piccadilly by
Douglas Bowie and Bamboozled:
He Won't Come In from the Barn,
Part 11 starring alongside her hus-
band Ted Johns.
Amos was the Blyth Festival's
Artistic Director from 1979 - 1984
and 1994 - 1997.
"Janet is Blyth's best known
actress" explains current Blyth
Festival Artistic Director Anne
Chislett. "Her performance last year
as Mum in Sometime, Never was
one of the highlights of the season".
Amos's directing credits include
the community vignettes of The
Outdoor Donnellys, and On Golden
Pond at the Grand Theatre in
London.
Amos appears as Bess Brickley in
Goodbye, Piccadilly as the loving

5 at Naftel's Creek Conservation
Area.
Volunteers from , the John
Hindmarsh Environment Trust Fund
and the Maitland Trail Association
will be leading walks through the
property at 2 p.m. Visitors are also
welcome to pick up a trail map and
explore the property on their own.
Watch for trout lingering beside
the banks of Naftel's Creek.
Naftel's Creek Conservation Area
is located on the east side of Hwy.
21, eight km. south of Goderich.
The guided walks leave from the
parking lot. Admission is free but
