It would lend itself well to a couple close to retirement who expect to have regular visits from their adult children and grandchildren, or perhaps for a family whose children are still at home. The large covered veranda provides a welcoming atmosphere at the entrance, where double doors open into an expansive, two-storey foyer with a dramatic curving staircase. French doors on the left of the foyer open to the dining room, which has a windowsill at the front and a useful buffet space on the side wall. On the opposite side of the foyer is the den, which also has a windowsill and a storage cupboard at the rear. A desk has been fitted along the rear wall - a useful addition whether the room is used as a den or a home office. At the rear of the house is the stunning great room, where an open ceiling and wall-to-wall windows bring in an abundance of natural light. A gas fireplace, flanked by entertainment units, can be enjoyed from all aspects of the great-room area.
