Notice of the proposed stopping up, closing and selling of municipal road
allowances, being Jane Street, P1, 140 Hullett, South of Byers Street to Highway 8.

NOTICE is hereby given pursuant to Section 300 (1) of the Municipal Act, R.S.0
1990, Chapter M45, that the Municipality of Central Huron. in die County of
Huron, proposes to pass a bylaw to stop up, close and sell a road allowance in the
Municipality of Central Huron, being those parts of Jane Street, Pl. 140 Hulleti
South of Byers Street in Ward 2.
On Tuesday, May 21, 2002, at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers, Municipal
Building, 23 Albert Street, Clinton, Ontario, the Coun6i1 of the Corporation of the
Municipality of Central Huron will consider the bylaw for closure and sale of the
aforementioned road allowance. Any person wishing to be heard on this matter who
claims that his or her land will be prejudicially affected by the said bylaw may
apply to be heard to:

Busloads of students travelled to Seaforth last week to attend A Slice of Huron and get a closer

Which came first
A bird in the hand was worth a lot of attention for young
visitors during this presentation at A Slice of Huron held last
week in Seaforth. The event gives students an opportunity
to learn more about the county's agricultural industry. (Bonnie

4-Hers
help
at show
On Saturday, April 6 the Huron
County Chinchilla 4-H met to
observe a Georgian Bay Chinchilla
Club claiming show at the Walton
Hall. -
The 4-Hers first held a meeting in
the basement while the adults
prepared and claimed chinchillas.
President Nicole Moore opened the
meeting with the 4-H pledge. The
4-H achievement was discussed,
then for the remainder of the
meeting the 4-Hers worked on the
assignment for the meeting and
made posters for the show and
auction.
After the potluck lunch, the 4-
Hers continued their meeting by.
answering the roll call and
discussing the qualities a judge
looks for in a chinchilla.
With their leaders, Ray and Barb
Storey, they also further discussed
the achievement event which will
be on May 4 at the Walton Hall, a
chinchilla show and auction. The
public is invited to attend this event.
The law
