Greeting at Blyth United Church were Fred and Deb Hakkers and boys. Guest musician was Margaret Kai. Guest speaker was Pat Milliken. The scripture was read by the confirmation class, Amanda Bearss, Bethany and Jeremy Kresky, Gordon Brigham and Stephanie Sanderson. Pat's story for the children was the story of people giving a fish to each other. The letters in FISH in Hebrew stand for Jesus Christ, son of God and our Saviour. The people would give each other a fish and this was a sign that they were Christians. Her message to the adults was the story on the Emmaus Road. Things happen that we don't understand but they are soon made clear to us and we do not need to be afraid because God will be with us whichever direction we take.
