THREE-BEDROOM FAMILY HOME

This handsome two-storey home is the ideal design for today's busy family.
A great room provides an expansive area for casual day-to-day living, with a separate dining
room for entertaining or more formal meals.
Inside the stone-pillared, arched entrance the foyer leads to a den on the right. A bay window
lends character to this room, which is ideally located for use as a home office, if this is needed.
Behind the den, and off the two-storey foyer, the laundry room, coat cupboards, storage space
and a powder room are efficiently grouped, giving the laundry room easy access to and from the
garage.
At the rear of the house is the great room, containing all the elements to make sure the family
will be able to get together for informal activities with plenty of space to move around.
On one side of the great room is the kitchen, designed so that the cook will be able to stay in
touch with the family. Ample counter space and an island with a cooktop are sure to encourage all
family members to share in the preparation of meals!
A good-sized carousel breakfast room is a charming area not just for breakfast, but for all
informal meals. A door opens on to a covered patio, to enjoy outdoor meals during the warmer
months. A gas fireplace can be seen from all parts of the room and will make sure there is a cosy
focus in the wintertime.
A. sliding pocket door from the kitchen opens to the dining room, which is given a 10-foot
ceiling and has a built-in space for a buffet. Sliding glass doors lead to a second covered patio,
with steps down to the back garden.
In the sleeping area upstairs, the master suite is privately located at the rear of the house. A
four-piece en suite bathroom includes a corner soaker tub and separate freestanding shower and a
walk -in closet offers ample space for his and her clothes.
Bedroom No. 2 is the slightly larger of the secondary bedrooms, and is located immediately
next to the main bathroom shared by both bedrooms.
Bedroom No. 3 has its own interesting features, with a large bay window and a walk-in closet
with glass block to bring in plenty of natural light.
A linen cupboard is placed between these two bedrooms and a decorative railing skirts the
hallway, which offers a view to the foyer below.
The stone and stucco exterior is enhanced by the board and batten and decorative braces
exposed in the roof peaks and a trellis over the garage.
The house is 52 feet, 8 inches wide and 53 feet, 6 inches deep with 1,986 square feet of living
space and an unfinished basement.
Plans-for design H-7-3-876 are available for $424 (set of 5), $490 (set of 8) and $540 for a super
set of 10. B.C. residents add 7.5% Prov. Sales Tax. Also add $15.00 for Priority charges within
B.C. or $30.00 outside of B.C. Please add 7% G.S.T. or 15% H.S.T. (where applicable) to both
the plan price and Priority charges.
