A great room provides an expansive area for casual day-to-day living, with a separate dining room for entertaining or more formal meals. Inside the stone-pillared, arched entrance the foyer leads to a den on the right. A bay window lends character to this room, which is ideally located for use as a home office, if this is needed. Behind the den, and off the two-storey foyer, the laundry room, coat cupboards, storage space and a powder room are efficiently grouped, giving the laundry room easy access to and from the garage. At the rear of the house is the great room, containing all the elements to make sure the family will be able to get together for informal activities with plenty of space to move around. On one side of the great room is the kitchen, designed so that the cook will be able to stay in touch with the family. Ample counter space and an island with a cooktop are sure to encourage all family members to share in the preparation of meals!
