The successful candidate will report to the Treasurer and initially work closely with the Manager, Housing Services and later other departments and functions as directed. Qualifications: • University degree and graduation from a professional accounting program (e.g. CA, CGA, CMA). • Experience with automated accounting systems, job costing systems. • Several years experience working in a computerized accounting environment. Exposure to Solomon and job costing is an asset. • Ability to communicate clearly and tactfully. • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure. • Good working knowledge of Windows Excel, Word and database application systems. • Exposure to a municipal government environment is an asset. • A different combination of education and experience may be considered.
