Sometimes it's good to feed your own "Heart & Soul" in order to contribute to others. The Blyth & District Community Centre is a focal point for young and old alike. Also this is "short-term fundraising" for a long-term project. Most other charities have established foundations and donators. Which one of the characters from Gilligan's Island are you most like and why? Well, some people say Ginger and I have a "couple of things" in common but 1 think I'm more like Gilligan, personality-wise. If you had to spend the summer on a deserted island with one of the characters from Gilligan's Island, who would it be? The Professor Mr. Howell's money is no good on the island The Skipper's a little aged and Gilligan's more like the boy next door. (The Professor kind of reminds one of Eric Coates). The Optimist Club is for the youth of the community - also this year's Optimist fundraiser is important as they are helping both fire departments, Brussels & Grey We are fortunate to have volunteer firefighters ih our area. Plus our son is on both departments. Which one of the characters from Gilligan's Island are you most like and why? I'd be most like Mary-Anne - down to earth and very plain - a country girl at heart. If you had to spend the summer on a deserted Island with one of the characters from Gilligan's Island, who would it be? Probably the Professor - he seemed to have the most brains of the whole group - maybe he could help me survive! What's your lucky number? 4 You have just earned the "Immunity Idol." I have lost too many family members and friends to cancer. The sooner a cure is found, the better for all of us. Which one of the characters from Gilligan's Island are you most like and why? Gilligan. I seem to be always getting myself into a mess of some sort Then I spend the rest of my time trying to figure out why and how to fix it.
