Tags for residents of East Wawanosh will be sold by a dog count- er as in previous years. Residents of Blyth can purchase their dog tags from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 6, 2002 and Saturday, February 9, 2002 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Blyth Festival Art Gallery. An owner or boarder of a dog(s) shall within 10 days of becom- ing such an owner or boarder, and thereafter on or before the 15th day of February cause such dog(s) to be licensed for one year. The fee schedule shall be as follows: (a) First Dog $20.00 (b) Each Additional Dog $25.00 (c) Pit Bull or Pit Bull Cross $100.00 (d, Kennel Licence $90.00 A $15.00 late payment charge shall be assessed in addition to the licence fee after February 15th. Proof of Rabies Vaccination must be available at the time of pur- chase. The By-law requires dog owners to forthwith remove excrement left by the dog anywhere in the municipality of the Township of North Huron. Guest The Blyth Midget Bulldogs opened their playoffs against Clifford and swept the opposition in three games. The Bulldogs opened the series on home ice and finished with a 17-0 victory. Blyth built a 5-0, first period lead and never looked back. It was one of those games where even the Blyth dump-ins seemed to hit the back of the net. Thirty-two members enjoyed a potluck meal. The meeting opened with 0 Canada, followed by a sing-song with Elva Brown at the piano and Aubrey Toll leading. Jean Plaetzer gave a reading, The Granny Cure. The minutes of the November meeting were read and approved. Sympathy cards were sent to Erma and Jim Mason and to Bill and Isobel Craig. The treasurer reported a balance of $640 on hand before submitting the annual dues of $2 per person. Share-the-wealth winners were Doris Hicks, Jean Nethery and Joanne McDonald. A euchre party will be held on March 7 at 1:30 p.m. sponsored by the Legion to support Clinton Public Hospital. The next meeting will be Feb. 27 in the Anglican Church Hall at the usual time. Euchre winners were Enid McDonald and Jim Wilson. Lost Heir winners were Jim Walsh and Jean Nethery.
