Congregation presents white gifts at service

The Belgrave Tree Lighting
Ceremony was held Thursday, Nov.
29 at the Heritage Park and
Community Centre with many in
attendance.
A carol-sing followed the tree
lighting led by Lila Proctor.
Refreshments were enjoyed by all.
Thanks to all who supplied treats
and to those who donated to
Women's Shelter in Goderich.
The white gift service is Sunday,
Dec. 9 at Knox United Church.
Before the service children with
musical talents are invited to share
7 tables
at euchre
Seven tables of euchre were in
play on Wednesday, Nov. 28 in the
Women's Institute Hall.
Winners were: high lady, Jane
Grasby; second high lady, Louise
Busman; most lone hands, Mary
McIntosh;- low lady, Mary Taylor;
high man, Allan Edgar; second high
man, Al Nichol; most lone hands,
Mabel Wheeler; low man, Jim
Hunter.
The next euchre is Wednesday,
Dec. 5 at 8 p.m.
Moms talk
report cards
Mabel's Moms met at their regular
time on Wednesday, Nov. 28.
Those who attended were Michelle
Nesbitt and Kaila; Linda Hess and
Judith; Lila Procter and Jessica;
Donna Raynard, Curtis and Craig;
Kim Higgins, Ashley and Jarod
Logan; Crystal Agombar, Nicholas,
Gage and Curtis Weber.
Their topic was Report Cards.

At this service the Sunday School
children will be presenting a
Christmas play. Also, it is asked that
people are prepared with a separate
donation for the foster child. Please
use a white envelope for the mone-
tary donation.
Lunch will be served following
worship.
On Sunday, Dec. 9 there will be a
carol-sing. Meet at the church at 7
p.m. The Youth Group will serve hot
chocolate after the singing.
